S pklibrary (version alpha 1) We are working on an S library for population pharmacokinetic analysis. The current alpha version available for download includes one and two compartment model functions designed to handle IV and extravascular dosing for single-dose, multiple-dose, and steady-state protocols. The models are written in C and S and run without modification using S-Plus 2000 for Windows and NLME V3.3. The package includes source code for users interested in modifying and enhancing the programs. In addition, users will find installation instructions (install.txt), general usage instructions (general instructions.txt), and examples (examples alpha 1.ssc). Users new to PK modeling with S-Plus will want to visit the Population PK S-Plus Models page first before trying the 'pklibrary alpha 1'. The program can be used for noncommercial purposes, with the hope that it will be useful. We will continue to enhance the pklibrary, please register for updates.
